Do you have extra barn wood lying around? There are so many different kinds of projects you can make with barn wood! Check out these 25 reclaimed wood projects to get inspired!
It all started when we found a bunch of gorgeous barn wood at a local warehouse. I instantly knew that I could make so many fun reclaimed wood projects if we brought the barn wood home.
The local warehouse had so many different types and sizes of barn wood, like this, but we ended up snagging two pieces that were about 15 feet local. So far, we’ve made 3-4 projects out of the barn wood and we still have some left!
If you’re lucky enough to stumble across barn wood like this or any type of reclaimed wood, you’ll probably be wondering what to do with it all. I’ve got you covered because I’m sharing tons of barn wood ideas today (at the bottom of this article)!
But first, let’s talk about this pretty little rustic wall shelf!
Hello, friends! So happy to be back today and taking a break from One Room Challenge craziness to share how I made this rustic wall shelf.
If you remember, I made an Irish Blessing Framed Sign and a Framed Canvas (without using any power tools).
They looked great together! But … the spacewas still missingsomething.
When I remembered I had another piece of reclaimed wood in my basem*nt from when we made our DIY farmhouse shelves, I knew just what I was going to do.
And … the wall shelf was made.
I LOVE it.
I added on a sweet little glass bottle and some faux florals to really complete the look.
Here’s my current gallery wall:
Much better, right??
You HAVE to pop over to Making it in the Mountains to see how I made the wall shelf. It was SO easy (cut, assembled, painted, and hung in ONEday!) and I love the rustic texture and farmhouse style it brings to the space.
